Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Engel, I found it to be a blend of charm and practicality, making it a noteworthy option for travelers seeking value in a beautiful setting. The room was impeccably clean, boasting a comfortable bed reminiscent of an old farmhouse style, which added a touch of coziness. While I regret not dining in-house, the restaurant is reputed to excel with fresh, slow food, and it's clear from the owner's passion that guests can expect quality. Morning meals, albeit simple, emphasize high-quality ingredients, fitting for those mindful of their culinary choices. With free parking and reliable Wi-Fi, Engel balances the luxury of a peaceful getaway with thoughtful amenities. For those who appreciate the delicate equilibrium between cost and comfort, Engel represents a sensible choice in the Caribbean hospitality landscape.
